Hi Everyone,

Today I have a CAS card for two challenges. The first challenge provided the colors and the second gave me the theme and sketch. Grey Granite, Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green are the colors for Creative Colour Challenge #56.  Fusion- Front Porch gave me the theme and sketch. I pulled out old Paper Pumpkin stamps for this card.

Blending Brushes

 Hello, 

Today I have a card that used the blending brushes to create a background. I like to use the brushes when I want to mute a color. Tahitian Tide seemed a little bright when combined with the other two colors in this challenge. 

The colors for Creative Colour Challenge #55 are. Garden Green, Tahitian Tide and Sahara Sand. These are great weekly color challenges that often times stretches my creative muscles. I encourage everyone to give it a try.

Hello,

Today was the deadline As You See it Challenge #283. Today's challenge had the theme of Pumpkins and Gourds. This challenge also had a twist. You were asked to create a card in 10 minutes or less. 

I finished my card in 9 minutes and 36 seconds. I find that using dies or punches make card making go faster. No fussy cutting today and minimal stamping.

Time is Ticking...

SO, what do you do when your granddaughter calls and asks you to go with her to story time?         I stop mid-card and go. That is what happened this morning. I had hearts cut and card layers cut. When I returned I had about 30 minutes to complete and post my card. With minutes to spare, I finished with a minimal post.

Today I made a card for the Just Add Ink Challenge #620. I had a few ideas of how I wanted this card to go. Most included heat embossing and coloring on vellum. I couldn't get the flowers vibrant enough. In the end I stamped  on white card and colored with blends.
