The colors and patterns of the Celebrate Everything, especially the Christmas prints, are definitely throwbacks to those from my childhood. They seemed perfect for Day 12: The Past of the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. I used the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #401.
I started by covering the front of a white card base with Celebrate Everything DSP. Two strips of another pattern attached to the left side of the card. The sentiment from Christmas to Remember was stamped with Granny Apple Green and cut out using Stylish Shape dies.
Foliage from Peace and Joy stamp set (ret) were stamped with Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green. They were fussy-cut and adhered to the sentiment circle.
Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (ret) were added as holly berries. A white Baker's Twine bow was added to finish the card.

So fun, Suzy - you have combined so many of my favorite things onto one card! Love your DSP combo especially, and perfect sentiment choice! Beautiful and so cheery! Thanks so much for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
ReplyDeleteThe colorful pops in the chosen DSP make for a lovely bright and festive card. Love the Holly adornments. Thanks for joining us at HSS this round. Cheers, Jolanda
