Christmas Cheer

Today I have a card that was inspired by As You See It Challenge #311. They have a recipe for Holiday Spirit. The essential ingredients are holiday, embossing folder, ribbon or twine, patterned paper and die-cuts. The theme for my card that pulled all of these elements together was provided by Day 13: Elfed Up! of Martin's Mayhem 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge.

Start with a Poppy Parade card base.

Cut a 3" by 4 1/2" piece of Merry Bold and Bright DSP Layer onto a 3 1/8" by 5 5/8" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. Attach to the card front.

Cut a 4 1/16" by 1" piece of Merry Bold and Bright DSP. Emboss with the circle Basic 3D folder. Adhere to the card front.

Using the Stylish Shapes dies cut the banner from Granny Apple Green Foil Sheet. Add to the card.

Cut the label from Something Fancy dies out of white cardstock. Stamp the Christmas Means More sentiment with Granny Apple Green ink. Attach to the card with dimensionals.

Cut the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies out of Granny Apple Green. Cut out 1/6 of the circle. Add Daffodil Delight ribbon. Cut a small piece of red ribbon to use as a feather. Attach hat to card with dimensionals.

Be sure to check out the other entries in these fun challenges.
