Hello Everyone,
Today starts a new challenge with Inspire.Create.Challenges. Challenge #156 is a Color Challenge. The colors are Moody Mauve, Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly. My first thought was these colors were perfect for florals. I did use some florals and made a Christmas card. You could use these colors for many occasions. You can dress it up or keep it simple. How will these colors inspire you?
Our new challenges launch every other Sunday at 10:00 a.m. GMT and continue for ten days. This challenge ends at 12:00 midnight GMT November 29, 2023. The Inspire.Create Team have created some great projects to inspire you. So click on the link below to head on over to the challenge blog and check them out.
For my card, I went with a sketch from Day 18 of Martin's Mayhem 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge. I pulled out some DSP and a favorite stamp set.
Start with a Moody Mauve card base Layer on a 4" by 5 1/2" piece of Fresh as a Daisy DSP.Layer a 3 1/4" by 2" piece of vellum onto the same size Lemon Lolly cardstock. Cut with a label from Something Fancy dies. Emboss with the Wintry 3D folder(ret). Adhere to the card.
Stamp three poinsettias and one berry from the Ringed with Nature stamp set with Moody Mauve ink. Fussy cut and attach to the card. Stamp the flowers and stems with Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly inks. Fussy cut and adhere to the card.
Stamp the roof with Boho Blue ink onto Boho Blue cardstock. Stamp the house on white cardstock. Fussy cut. Add some Boho Blue In Color Jute Trim to the back of the house. Attach the house to the card with dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment from Oct 2021 Paper Pumpkin with Moody Mauve ink onto a 1/4" strip of white cardstock. Adhere to the card.
Add Adhesive Backed Solid gems to the flower centers.
I hope my card inspired you to join in this Color Challenge and make a card of your own. This challenge runs until 12:00 midnight GMT November 29, 2023. See the blog post for all the rules and guidelines.
