Hello everyone! I pulled out some leftover pieces from an old Paper Pumpkin kit to make this card. It makes me wish for a Mai Tai instead of my glass of wine. I also tried a new technique I recently saw by Artisan Designer @creativechelsey. Just Add Ink #586 required a summer theme. I combined their theme with the Ci114 color challenge.
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and Shimmery WhiteDies: Stitched Rectangle and any long curved die (I used the retired Home Together set)

I have been having fun playing with these cute little otters this week They are Otterly adorable! The colors set by Global Design Project #325 provided a great backdrop for this cute floating otter.
I picked some patterned DSP to meet the color requirements for the challenge. The colors are Pool Party, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya. I cut a 3 1/2" by 1 1/4" strip of each color and arranged them on a 5 1/8" by 3 7/8" piece of Basic White cardstock. This white piece was attached to a slightly larger piece of Pool Party cardstock.
I stamped Pool Party Ink onto a 4 7/16" by 2 1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock using an acrylic block. this was adhered to a slightly larger piece of Pool Party card. The birthday sentiment from the Awesome Otters stamp set was stamped in black.
The otter was stamped in black, colored using Crumb Cake and Polished Pink blends, and fussy cut out. It was attached to card using dimensionals.
Polished Pink ribbon was tied around the card front before being attached to a Pale Papaya card base. Opal Rounds added a final embellishment.
Happy Stamping!
Here are a few more otter cards.
Hello all and welcome to my blog. I have been missing in action for a while. I got way behind in all my holiday projects and had to put some things on the back burner. Today's project is inspired by a trio of colors set by Creative Colour Challenge #19. The colors are Old Olive, So Saffron and Magenta Madness.
I haven't made very many slimline cards and the ones I have made are all different sizes. This card was designed to fit the new Stampin Up Slimline Envelopes.
