Today's card combines a sketch challenge and a color challenge. CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #460 provided a fun layout and Creative Colour Challenges #28 determined the color scheme. The colors are, Early Espresso, Poppy Parade and Bumble Bee.

Stamping Off

Hi all! For today's card I used the stamping off technique in order to get varying shades of color. The colors I am using were set by the Creative Colours Challenge #27. The three colors were Magenta Madness, Night of Navy and Shaded Spruce.

The flower pot was second generation Night of navy and Shaded Spruce was second generation seed packet. I tried stamping off Magenta Madness for each of the flowers but the color was too soft for the brightness of the other colors.

Throwback Thursday

Hi all, today's card takes us back to 2019. I'm participating in Retro Rubber Challenge #177. It is a tic tac toe challenge this time. The three elements I used are birthday, die-cut and embossing. For the embossing I used the Detailed Birthday dies. This is my first time using this technique.

Happy Hedgehog Reverse Stamping

Hello all! Today's card was a bit of an oops. I had the card all planned out and everything was stamped, cut and punched. When I started to do the coloring I realized my hedgehog was facing the wrong way. My first thought was to just use the other hedgehog in the stamp set and fussy cut it out. But if I did that I would miss one of the requirements for the two challenges I wanted to use for this card. So I pulled out my silicone mat and reversed stamped the image. Both challenges were tic tac toe boards, Tic Tac Toe Challenge #150 and Paper Craft Crew Challenge #460. The elements for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge were animal, thanks and punches. The Tic Tac Toe Challenge elements were pastel colors, DSP and punches or dies.
