Big Hooray!

Oh my! It has been almost two months since I last posted. Today's card used some fun new products from the annual catalog. The card was inspired by a color combination provided by Creative Colour Challenges #44  The required colors were Basic Gray, Pool Party and Sweet Sorbet. This was a CASE of a card in the current catalog.

I started with a standard Basic Gray card base. I cut a 5 3/8" by 4 1/8" rectangle from Sweet Sorbet cardstock and used that to border a 5 5/16" by 4 1/16" piece of Pool Party Design a Dream DSP.

Three basic white 3 1/8" by 1 3/4" pieces were cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies and were layered onto the DSP layer.

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark onto Sweet Sorbet card and embossed with white embossing powder. After cutting out, I glued it onto a 3" vellum stitched circle that was embossed with white embossing powder. Then centered onto the front of the card with dimensionals .

Sequins were cut from the Basic Gray, Pool Party and Sweet Sorbet card using the Sequins dies. These were glued randomly onto the card.

I love this card and hope you like it too!
