Beyond Grateful

I was inspired by two challenges today. Creative Colour Challenge #134 provided Wild Wheat, Moody Mauve and Starry Sky. The Sketch for my card came from Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #434. I used three different techniques to make the color background. Starry Sky was stamped using the reverse side of a stamp. The Moody Mauve was blended with a brush. I used an acrylic block to add the Wild Wheat.

TGIF Challenge #465 But First Coffee gave me the theme for today's card. I was excited to have a reason to pull out an old favorite stamp set. I was inspired by the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #629. This all combined perfectly for the Food and Drink challenge at The Male Room this month.

Pink Daisies

My card today was inspired by three challenges. Inspired By #281 has a daisy theme. The Easter Bounty color scheme from Sunday Stamps Challenge #331 provided a perfect palette for the daisies. The sketch from CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge #462  inspired the Basket background.

Flowering Tulips

My card today almost didn't happen. I was very intimidated by the colors needed for Just Add Ink Challenge #694. Their colors are Fresh Freesia, Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze. I did not think I could bring them together in a good way. 

I pulled in the sketch from CASE-ing Tuesday #452 and the Theme Spring Flowers from As You See It #319. They had the added pressure of completing the card in less than 10 minutes. In the end, I came up with a card that pleasantly surprised me. Those colors work beautifully together. My completion time was 9:19.

Inspire.Create.Challenges #164

 Hello Everyone,

We are back with a great new challenge today. Inspire.Create.Challenges #164 is a fun theme challenge. I used a recent Paper Pumpkin kit and some seasonal dies for my project.

Our theme is "Anything But a Card". I went with an 8" framed decor piece. I used elements from the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin and the Excellent Eggs dies.

Happiness Abounds

My card today was created for two challenges TGIF Challenges #464 has an inspiration challenge this week. Their challenge did the heavy lifting for this card. Colour INKspiration #161 really had me struggling. Their colors were Melon Mambo, Moody Mauve and Garden Green. These two pinks together really weren't working for me- I guess that's why they're called challenges.

Subtle Easter Eggs

I have another Easter card to share today. Today's card was inspired by three great challenges. Inspired by Fabric #280. I was inspired by the subtle colors and the bunny in the background. Festive Friday Challenge #0155 is celebrating Easter with a wonderful Inspo board. I pulled yellow, pale blue (pool party), rhinestone, eggs and happy sentiment. At Tic Tac Toe Challenge #243, Silke has created a fantastic board of springtime elements. I went with the top row of Easter Eggs, Yellow and Free.

CAS Colours and Sketches #533 Sketch Challenge

Good Morning Everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing my card for our sketch challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches #533. Joanne has created a versatile sketch to play with. I kept it real simple with some pastel bunnies and a sentiment.

This is a fun sketch that could be used for many occasions. This would look great flipped on its side for a vertical card. Just remember to keep your card Clean and Simple.
