Count on Me Kangaroo for Global Design Project #302

Good Morning everyone. TGIF, It has been another warm week here in the PNW. It makes for a perfect afternoon of staying inside with the AC and crafting.

Isn't this little kangaroo  adorable! She is just one of the cute little critters in the Count on Me stamp set.

This week's Global Design Project is a sketch challenge. I chose the Pattern Party DSP, which is a Host Reward, to go with the sweet kangaroo. This paper is so fun and you get so many patterns to play with. I picked 5 different patterns and cut two 1.3 centimeter wide strips of each pattern. These strips were glued onto a Flirty Flamingo card base.

The heart was cut using one of the heart punches out of Flirty Flamingo. I looped the white Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon around the heart and attached it to the card with dimensionals.

The kangaroo was stamped on Basic White cardstock with black ink. Cinnamon Cider and Ivory blends were used to color the body. It was then cut out and added to the card with dimensionals. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I cut it out and added to the heart with dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out all of the great projects for this week's Global Design Project. I hope you have a great weekend!
