The Sentiment is the only Stamp

I combined two challenges for this card. One for the color and the other for the sketch. Hand Stamped Sentiments #419 had a fun sketch to work with. The colors came from Just Add Ink #644. The colors included Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Lost Lagoon.

Colour and Contour

Today's card brings together some colors perfect for fall. Colour INKspiration Challenge #148 provided Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Pebble Path and Black to play with. The sketch for my card came from Freshly Made Sketches #597.

Pebble Path card base

5 1/4" by 4" Very Vanilla embossed with Timeworn Type folder

1/4"by 3 7/8" Cajun Craze

4 7/8" by 3/8" Daffodil Delight embossed with Hive 3D embossing folder (ret)

Colour and Contour flowers stamped with Cajun Craze and ink. Colored with Cajun Craze

Leaves stamped with Pebble Path and colored with Pebble Path blemds fussy-cut

Sentiment stamped with black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Fussy-cut. Layered onto black cardstock. Fissy-cut

PP #652 with Bright and Beautiful DSP

 Good Morning,

Today is Sunday and that means it is time for a new challenge over at The Paper Players. I hope you all will make a project of your own and join us in this challenge. I made a birthday card that would be great for a summertime birthday. SUOnly Challenge #332 is all about Fun Folds this time so I went combined the two challenges.

I used the Bright and Beautiful DSP for my card. Lemon Lime twist was used for the card base.

I used the "So Cool" Paper Pumpkin from April 21 Stamp Set for the front of the card. The sentiment was cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.

I used Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly and Azure Afternoon blends and inks.

The Zany Zoo stamp set was used for the inside sentiment.

I do not know the name of this fun fold. It went together pretty quickly and could be used for any occassion. I found it at On Y Go! Stamping by Heidi Collins. Here is her YouTube video: Click! She has all the dimensions and her video is very easy to follow.

Claire is bringing us a timely Theme challenge this week, Hot Fun in the  Summertime. Use her image to inspire you. I pulled the popsicles for my inspiration. Your card could be made elaborate with your favorite embellishments or kept as simple as you like. What will you create for this challenge?

Arrange a Wreath

I have always been a fan of brown and pink together. This week Creative Colour Challenges #100 gave me a chance to work with them- with the addition of a favorite blue. The colors of their challenge were Pecan Pie, Misty Moonlight and Petal Pink. The sketch for my card came from CASE-ing Tuesday #419. They provided a card from the Annual Catalog to work with.

My card today was created for a specific audience. The design was inspired by Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #314- Be Bold. I pulled out some bold colors and created a bold sentiment.

Now, for those not in the know- HB is pretty universal for Happy Birthday. For those who do not speak Pittsburghese N'at is short for "and that" or "whatever". An example would be, "Yinz wanna go to the movies n'at?" (Yinz is the plural of you.)

Cool Treats

Hello, I have combined two weekly challenges for today's card. When I saw TGIF Challenge #431, the striped paper caught my attention. Tic Tac Toe Challenge #219 had me thinking of summertime favorites. My first thought was fireflies but then I remembered the popsicles from an old Paper Pumpkin. (layers, twine and  DSP)

Sweet Strawberry

Good morning, My card today is one I have been planning as soon as I saw this fun patterned paper. The Delightfully Eclectic DSP strawberry print is so cute. To bring my thoughts together I used the Inspired By Berries Challenge #248 and of course the Retro Rubber Challenge #212: Anything Goes. The Sweet Strawberry stamp set is from 2021.
