Sweet Wishes

Today I have a card that was inspired by two of my favorite challenges. Both of these challenges allow you to pick from a list of elements to play with Festive Friday Card Making and Paper Crafting Challenge #0133 is celebrating National Eat What You Want Day. The elements I used for their challenge are die-cutting, black and white and gingham. For the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #207 I picked the right column of die-cut, free and birthday.

I started with a Bubble Bath card base that was trimmed to 3 1/4" on the front. A 3" by 5 1/4" piece of Pattern Party DSP (ret) was layered onto a 3 1/8" by 5 3/8" piece of Melon Mambo cardstock. This was attached to the card front.

Using the Hello Cupcake stamp set (ret) the cupcake was stamped with crumb cake ink. The frosting was stamped with Bubble Bath ink. They were cut out using the Call Me Cupcake dies (ret). The cupcake was assembled and attached to a vellum circle cut from the Stylish Shapes dies. The circle was attached to the card front. The "sprinkles" are from the Shaker Shapes (ret).

The sentiment was stamped with black ink and cut with the Something Fancy dies. this was attached to the card front with dimensionals. A Black and White Gingham Ribbon bow was attached to finish the card.

The inside of the card was layered with a 4" by 5 1/4" piece of whit cardstock. A 1" by 5 1/4" strip of the cardstock was adhered to the right side edge.

Be sure to check out the other entries in these challenges.
