Halloween Treat Box

TGIF Challenges #440 has a theme challenge that was calling my name, I Just Want to Eat Candy and be Crafty. Candy and crafting, we should make this a weekly challenge. I took this opportunity to make a treat box for Halloween.

The finished dimensions of the box are 3 1/2" by 6 1/8" by 1 1/4"

Cardstock Cuts: Pumpkin Pie

    10" by 7 1/2"

Basic Black:

    front panel 3 5/16" by 4 5/16"

Them Bones DSP:

    front panel 3 3/16" by 4 3/16"

    side panel 1 1/16" by 4 15/16"

    top panels 3 5/16" by 13/16"

    back panel 3 5/16" by 4 5/16"

Score the 10" side at 1/2", 4", 5 1/4" and 8 3/4"

Score the 7 1/2" side at 1 1/4", 5 3/4" and 6 3/4"

Fold and crease all of the score lines. Add Tear and tape as shown. Assemble the box starting with the side seam. Attach the above paper cuts with liquid glue.

Make holes for ribbon using a 1/8" hole punch.

Stamp three bats with StazOn ink onto Glow-in-the-Dark cardstock. Cut bats and mausoleum from Glow-in-the-Dark cardstock. Brush Crumb Cake blend over mausoleum. Attach bats with dimensionals.

Cut tombstone from Smoky Slate cardstock. Stamp sentiment with black ink and distress with a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink. Attach to mausoleum piece. Attach to front panel.

Cut grass from Basic Gray card stock, trim to fit front panel. Glue.

Cut skeletons from DSP. Attach to panel with dimensionals.

Fill with goodies. Either of the things above will fit easily.

Thread Gingham Ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow.
