Inspire.Create.Challenge #153

Hello Everyone,

Today starts a new challenge with Inspire.Create.Challenges. Challenge #153 is a Theme Challenge. The theme for this challenge is Autumn/Halloween. I pulled out a few packs of gorgeous paper and a new die set. Will you go with leaves, pumpkins, witches or maybe skeletons?  Whatever it is, join us and make a card of your own.

Our new challenges launch every other Sunday at 10:00 a.m. GMT and continue for ten days. This challenge ends at 12:00 midnight GMT October 18, 2023. The Inspire.Create Team have created some great projects to inspire you. So click on the link below to head on over to the challenge blog and check them out.

For my card, went with a sketch from CASE-ing Tuesday #428. My first thought was to use stamped images from the Fruitful Blessings bundle. When I saw the dies, I decided to go with the corn and some fabulous DSP in autumnal colors.

Start with a 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" piece of All About Autumn DSP. Adhere to a Very Vanilla card base.

Cut a 2 3/4" by 4 3/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Emboss it with the Tome Worn Type folder. Layer this piece with the same size piece of All About Autumn DSP onto the card front.

Cut a 3 1/4" by 1/2" strip of Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP. Adhere to the top of the card front.

Stamp the Fruitful Blessings sentiment with Copper Clay ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut with the Something Fancy dies. Attach to card with dimensionals.

Using the dies from Fruitful Blessings cut the husk and the bottom layer of the corn from Fresh as a Daisy DSP. Cut the top layer of the corn cob from the Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP (back with adhesive sheets). Assemble the corn and adhere two cobs with liquid glue. Attach the third with dimensionals.

Cut about 10 inches of the Threaded Twine. Pull out two strands of the twine and tie into a bow. Attach the bow to the card front.

I hope my card inspired you to join in this Theme Challenge and make a card of your own. This challenge runs until 12:00 midnight GMT October 18, 2023. See the blog post for all the rules and guidelines.
