PP #662 CAS Autumn

Hello All! Today is the start of a new week and that means it it time for a new challenge from The Paper Players. I pulled out some favorite patterned paper and punch bundle from a few years ago.

Start with a thick Very Vanilla card base

Emboss a 3 15/16" by 5 3/16" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Timber 3D folder. Layer onto a 4 1/16" by 5 5/16" piece of Earle Espresso cardstock.

Cut three strips of Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP (ret) measuring 3/4" by 4", 1" by 4 1/2" and 1/2" by 3 1/2". Flag one end of each strip. Adhere to the card front.

Stamp the Beautiful Autumn stamp set (ret) sentiment with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, cut out with Something Fancy dies. Attach to the card with dimensionals.

Cut the leaves and acorn from the DSP and gold foil using the Autumn mini punches. Attach to the card with dimensionals.

Joanne has a Clean-and-Simple challenge with an Autumn theme. The cards this week have to feature any aspect of any kind. Use pumpkins, leaves, or anything else that represents fall. Just remember to keep it Clean and Simple!

The design team has created some creative projects to inspire you. Stop by our challenge page to see what we made. Drop us a comment while you are there.

I hope you join us at The Paper Players this week. We would love to see what you create for this Clean and Simple food challenge. You can enter your project from now until noon PST on Friday, October 20, 2023. See all the rules and requirements on the challenge page.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!

  3. What a great layout, Suzy! I love the trio of banners...such great choices of patterns. The acorn is a perfect embellishment for the sentiment, which I absolutely love!

  4. Suzy, I still have some of that DSP and would never have thought to put it together in strips - it works magnificently. The touch of black and white gingham lifts all the other colors. Fabulous card

  7. I love this set and still have it - and those papers too Suzy! They look great in the banners so that you get to see a little of each and the punched elements are great accents for a CAS card. Great job!
