PP #661 and Zany Zoo

Hello Everyone,

This week over at The Paper Players LeAnne has a great color challenge for us. There are three great colors to play with, along with black and white. I pulled out some favorite patterned paper and a fun stamp set and coordinating dies. I hope you can join us for this great color challenge. The sketch of my card came from CASE-ing Tuesday #427.

Start with a 4 1/4" square card base.
Emboss a 4" by 3 3/8" piece of Highland Heather with the dotted Classic 3D folder. Layer onto card base.
Cut a 4" by 3 3/8" piece of Zoo Crew DSP. Color the flowers with Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather and Old Olive. Adhere to the card.
Add a 4" by 2 5/8" layer of Zoo Crew DSP.
Cut images from DSP with scissors and Zany Zoo dies. Cut the trees from Old Olive cardstock with the dies. Attach the cuts onto a 3" by 2 5/8" piece of white cardstock. Attach to the card front.
Stamp the Zany Zoo sentiment with black ink onto the three colors of cardstock. Cut out with scissors. Attach to card with dimensionals.

LeAnne's color challenge this week provides Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Highland Heather along with black and white. Your card could be used for any occasion. It could be made elaborate with your favorite embellishments or kept as simple as you like. What will you create for this challenge?

The design team has created some creative projects to inspire you. Stop by our challenge page to see what we made. Drop us a comment while you are there.

I hope you join us at The Paper Players this week. We would love to see what you create for this color challenge. You can enter your project from now until noon PST on Friday, October 13, 2023. See all the rules and requirements on the challenge page.

  1. I love this little scene that you created! How adorable! We always have a harvest party at our church and it is the ONE day of the year that I have a marshmallow roasted over a fire!!! This helps me anticipate that day! Fun way to use the colors too!

  4. LOL, Suzy - those are two rather unlikely campfire companions - love it! Oh, I just noticed that Claire said the same thing! Your patterned papers were a great choice for LeAnne's colors. Very cute birthday card.
