The Beach

Today I have a card that is the combination of three great challenges. Festive Friday #0141 is a celebration of National Beach Day, which is August 30. They put together an inspiration list of great elements to pull together for a card. The elements I used are pearls, sand, shells and sea.

Inspired By Neutrals #252 is all about neutral colors. For my beach card, I used Crumb Cake for the card base and for most of the card front- the sand, the grasses and the shells.

As You See It Challenge #306 -At the Beach, asks what do you like to do at the beach. My favorite thing is just to relax and watch and listen to the water and everything that goes on. The beach we hang out on is on Puget Sound.

  4. Suzy, your beach scene is so serene and perfect for the challenge. The touch of stamping on your kraft base adds wonderful texture, too. So glad you shared this beauty with us at Festive Friday this week. hugs

  7. Suzy, what I love about your card, besides the colours and serenity, is that the shells and grass are perfectly in scale with each other and your beach scene looks so natural.
