I have a card today for the TGIF Challenge #445. It is a color challenge with some great colors. The colors are Pecan Pie, Moody Mauve and Boho Blue. I thought these colors would work great with the Ringed of Nature set, a favorite from last year. The sketch of my card came from Day 10 of Martin's Mayhem 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge.
Cut a 3 1/2" by 4 3/4" piece of white cardstock. Emboss with the Time Worn Type folder. Glue to the card front.
Blend Pecan Pie ink onto white cardstock scrap. Stamp with the tree rings from Ringed with Nature stamps.
Stamp two leaves with Pecan Pie, Two berries with Boho Blue and flowers with Moody Mauve inks. Fussy cut.
Using the third smallest tree cookie die cut and emboss the bark with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder from Pecan Pie card stock. Also cut four of the twigs. Layer all of these parts onto the card. Using dimensionals for the flowers.
Stamp the sentiment with Boho Blue onto a 3/4" strip of white cardstock. Trim to fit.
Cut about 10" of the White Iridescent ribbon in half lengthwise. Tie into a bow. Attach to the card along with Moody Mauve Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots
