Something Red

Today I have a Christmas Card that was inspired by Martin's Meyhem  #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge. Today is Day 1 and the objective is Something Red. I immediately reached for the gorgeous Painted Christmas DSP. The sketch for my card is from this month's Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers. Both of these groups can be found on Facebook.

The DSP was layered onto a piece of Real Red cardstock which was then adhered to a white card base.

I used the Rings of Nature stamp set for this card. The flowers were stamped with Real Red. The berries were second generation Real Red and the small leaves were stamped using Garden Green. The sentiment was also Real Red. All were fussy-cut out.

The tree cookie was stamped with Soft Suede and cut out with the Tree Rings dies.

I used 3/8" Real Red Ribbon to cover the DSP joint. Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels were used as flower centers.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Stamping!
